Summary
I am a DPhil student in International Relations at the Queen’s College, Oxford. My doctoral work examines the role of common languages in facilitating joint IO memberships, bargaining over institutional language rules in IOs, and the diffusion of English as a diplomatic lingua-franca via membership in anglophone IOs. My research is supported by the University’s Clarendon Fund and by the Cyril and Phyllis Long Scholarship at the Queen’s College.
Prior to the DPhil, I completed my MPhil in International Relations with Distinction at St Peter’s College, Oxford. In addition to working as a predoctoral fellow at Yale Law School, I have assisted in conducting research at various organisations. I also hold degrees in Economics from Peking University and the University of Chicago.
I teach seminars for first-year international relations (PO1IRE) at the University of Reading as an Associate Lecturer.
