Jordan Edwards-Zinger is a current first-year MPhil in Comparative Government student at Brasenose College. Her research interests are grounded in Soviet and post-Soviet authoritarianism, the institutions within modern post-Soviet states, and the changing nature of autocratic politics.
Before commencing her MPhil, in July 2024, Jordan graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford with a first-class BA in PPE (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics). During her bachelor's degree, her research focused on Soviet politics and foreign policy, culminating in an undergraduate thesis titled "Why Leaders Matter: The Role of the Individual in Determining Sino-Soviet Relations, 1948-1958."
