Dr Caroline Fehl publishes book on European Responses to American Unilateralism

Caroline Fehl, who finished her doctorate in 2009 in international relations at Oxford University, has published her DPhil thesis: Living with a Reluctant Hegemon. Explaining European Responses to US Unilateralism (Oxford University Press, 2012).

This is the first book-length study of European responses to US unilateralism. Analyzing five recent transatlantic conflicts over multilateral agreements, Caroline develops an integrated model to explain the striking variation of European responses to US hegemony.
