Department is second in 2016 world university rankings by subject

DPIR has been ranked second in the QS World University Ranking by Subject 2016 tables for Politics and International Studies.

The department scored 93.1 out of 100 (an improvement on last year), following top-ranked Harvard University with a score of 95.0. The London School of Economics and Political Science is in third place, scoring 91.8.

Scores take into account academic and employer reputation surveys, along with citations per faculty. The methodology is explained in detail here.
